Easy DIY Macramé Plant Hanger Using Yarn

I adore the look of macrame plant hangers. There are so many cute ideas out there. Especially when there's several hanging together....totes adorbs!!!


Here's an idea that's way faster, easier, and cheaper. All you need are scissors, yarn, and the ability to tie regular knots. Yay!


I started out with this yarn I found. Any yarn would do, but I prefer this thicker type.





Cut eight strands the same length. I used the length of my dining room table.





Tie all the ends together, leaving about four inches for the tassel at the bottom.





Group the top strands together in groups of two. There will be four groups of two. Tie adjacent strands together roughly two inches up from bottom knot.




Repeat that step, creating another set of four knots.




Tie the top together in order to place over a hook.



Give those plants some sunshine!!!
