How To Turn A Leaking Jello Mold Into A Hanging Planter
Updated: Apr 10

I bought this jello mold from an antique mall and was excited about all the retro jello desserts I could make with it only to find a sticky mess in my fridge later on.

I found a hanging planter chain at the Dollar Tree and thought it would work perfect. So I lined up the hooks where I wanted them to be. I had actually already been using it as a planter, hence the dirt remnants.

I drilled holes with a quarter inch drill bit.

Pretty simple. Since this mold is made out of aluminum it should last for a long time outside. I don't need to drill drainage holes, obviously.

Just add plants ☺️
